Pelosi: House Must Pass Senate Tax Cut Bill to Provide Certainty for Middle Class

Statement

Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today calling for House passage of the Senate middle class tax cut bill:

"Democrats and Republicans all agree that the middle income tax cut is critical for our economy. Now that the Senate has passed a middle class tax cut, we should all agree to pass this bill.

"If just one of every ten House Republicans joined us, the Senate-passed bill would become law by the end of the week and millions of Americans would have a tax cut instead months of economic uncertainty."
