Jasper Nolan announced today he will not seek re-election this fall as Saratoga County Republican Party chairman.

The following is a statement from Matt Doheny, the Republican, Conservative & Independence parties' candidate in the 21st Congressional District. The district includes the northern half of Saratoga County.

"Jasper Nolan has served the Republican Party with great honor and distinction and I am happy to have gotten to know him in these past few months.

"His half-century of hard work to help grow the party in Saratoga County is truly without rival. He has been a guiding hand for so many candidates and I'm thankful to have his guidance and wisdom as I pursue my bid for Congress. I wish him the best."
