CONGRESSMAN FATTAH APPLAUDS TEACHER AGREEMENT
WASHINGTON, DC-Congressman Chaka Fattah, (D-PA) congratulates the Philadelphia School District, the Philadelphia Teachers Union and members of the School Reform Commission in their tireless work to reach a new contract agreement.
"The settlement means continued progress for reform in Philadelphia's schools," said Fattah. "It's a win for the teachers and a win for the children. This resolution reflects the determination by all parties to provide the best educational opportunity for Philadelphia students and for that we are all thankful."
