The majority of people in Wyoming work for small businesses or for themselves. The rising cost of healthcare has prevented many small businesses and entrepreneurs from purchasing healthcare or they have been priced out of the market because they don't have the purchasing power of larger businesses. There should be a way for small business owners to contribute a portion of the cost of insurance and the employee could choose an individual plan that best fits their needs. If this happened, families with more than one person working could have the contributions of both employers pooled together to reduce the cost to the individual and it would reduce the cost to the small business owner.
