Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA

The Miller campaign for California's 31st Congressional District gathers more steam on its way towards the November election against his opponent, a Sacramento politician. The Leading Builders of America announced in a letter its decision to endorse Congressman Miller. The LBA is made up of the largest home building companies that collectively constitute 30% of all homebuilding jobs throughout the country.

"Job creation is my biggest priority in Washington," noted Congressman Miller upon receiving the endorsement. "In our county, the county hardest hit by the 2008 recession in the state, restarting the home building industry is critical to returning jobs many thought might never return. With hard work and perseverance I know we can get the most vulnerable and hardest hit families back to work."

Since 2009, the LBA has worked to preserve home affordability for millions of American families and create homebuilding jobs for millions more.

"Your support of homeowners is unmatched in Congress," said Ken Gear, Executive Director of the LBA. "And as you know first-hand by running a business of your own, operating in this economic environment is challenging. With our economy continuing to suffer through the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression, your common sense perspective to governing is a breath of fresh air."

20 of the top 25 homebuilders in the U.S. are members of the LBA and account for more than 300,000 jobs annually.

"Because we follow the actions of Congress with significant rigor, we can identify the champions of economic recovery fairly readily and we wanted to write to thank you for topping that list again this session," Mr. Gear continued. "LBA is proud to endorse your candidacy for re-election and we look forward to working with you in the future to address the litany of difficult issues that will be addressed by Congress next year. Indeed, your leadership is needed now more than ever!"
