U.S. Senator Kay R. Hagan (NC) today announced new resources for Western Carolina University to spur economic development. "These resources will support innovation at WCU and strengthen our state's economy," Hagan said. "We must continue to invest in research and development that promotes new ideas and entrepreneurship, and I'm pleased that these resources will encourage our students to innovate in order to compete in a 21st century global economy."
