Issue Position

Every twelve minutes another Michigander leaves the state. As families wave good-bye to their sons and daughters who leave for better opportunities, Michigan loses more talent and hope. After receiving training at some of the best universities and colleges in the world, their need to leave due to a lack of job opportunities is truly a shame.

High standards at our schools need to be set to encourage our students to excel and perform their best. Teachers need to have class sizes where educators can personalize education and families need to be empowered to help their children achieve their potential in the setting of their choosing.
