Edward Green Confessed to Brutal Slayings of Elderly Houston Couple
Gov. Rick Perry today denied convicted killer Edward Green's request for a 30-day postponement of his execution for the 1992 robbery and murder of 72-year-old Edward Haden and 63-year-old Helen O'Sullivan in Houston.
"The main evidence leading to Green's conviction is his own confession to these brutal and senseless murders," Perry said. "There is no doubt about his guilt, and recent media reports show that even his own defense attorneys do not dispute his guilt."
