Issue Position

Health care is an issue of utmost importance. It is imperative to Michigan citizens to ensure lower health care costs in the future. First off, health care plans should be set in a reasonable price range to ensure affordability and availability amongst the people. However, it is my belief that people should not rely completely on the government to fund health care coverage. The private sector should carry some additional costs. I will work closely with other legislations to ensure that all citizens be given quality health care, regardless of circumstance. No person should put his or her health care as a second priority. If people are properly insured at an affordable rate, the general public will be better off and healthier as a whole.
