Issue Position

We must ensure that all local governments have stable sources of revenue. This is especially true for schools but also vitally important for villages and townships in order that basic protective services and maintenance services can be provided for the citizens. The current concept of the state taking the money and giving back is proving unworkable as local governments are being forced to cut back on vital services.
