Issue Position

As an active member of the LDS church, Scott supports the First Presidency position on abortion. Scott believes that the procedure should only be performed in the event of rape, incest, and health and life of the mother. He also believes that when a woman is faced with the sad, even tragic choice to end a pregnancy, that decision should only be made after prayerful consultation with her clergy, her family members, and her physician.
