Issue Position

Our service members and their families have made enormous sacrifices for our country and deserve our support in their transition back home. During the 2012 legislative session I sponsored legislation that requires further suicide assessment and treatment training by health professionals, including those who work with military members.streamlines the process for reactivating the professional licenses of spouses of service members after deployment. This makes it easier for these families to return to our local work force.
