Issue Position

Personal health is our greatest individual asset. At some point in our lives, each of us will face issues involving our health and access to healthcare. Every year, the Georgia legislature passes legislation affecting healthcare, however, there are no physicians in our state senate to assist in making these decisions. Having practiced medicine for many years, I have the medical training and clinical experience necessary to help legislators understand these complex issues. As your state senator, I will use my training and experience to protect your health and your access to healthcare.
