Today's jobs numbers reveal that North Carolina lost more jobs than any other state during the month of May. In total, North Carolina lost 16,500 jobs.

"Our next Governor must work with both parties to fix our broken economy, make North Carolina more business friendly and create jobs," said Pat McCrory. "It's clear that the status quo and the Perdue-Dalton policies of the last four years have not worked considering we've now had 41 straight months of unemployment over 9% and we have the 4th highest unemployment rate in the nation."
