A strong economy and job market begins by having an environment that attracts and promotes business growth. By creating opportunities and economic incentives for both small and large businesses, we can continue to improve our economy in these tough times.

*Creating tax incentives that reward businesses for hiring Colorado workers, instead of outsourcing jobs to other states or countries.
*Investing in our workforce to create skilled workers ready for 21st century jobs by increasing support for job training programs.
*Making sure businesses that are considering bringing jobs into Lakewood have a simple process to do so and support from state and local government.
*Promoting civic responsibility from employers to ensure that we maintain our communities' quality of life and vitality.
*Ensuring that we are providing economic incentives that work. We should get rid of special-interest tax breaks and use that money to invest in Colorado small businesses.
*Ensuring that our kids have a quality, public education that prepares them for the jobs of the 21st century.
