Robust family agriculture and building markets for our local foods are crucial to our quality of life, our environment and our economy. I will:

*Support farm-to-market bills such as Senator Schwartz's Local Foods bill, and I will join Senator Schwartz in working to remove barriers to marketing locally produced food.
*Work with Agriculture Commissioner John Salazar and processing plants to change one-size-fits-all USDA requirements while safeguarding the integrity of our food.
