Issue Position

Energy needs to be an issue that is in the forefront of all of our minds. We are literally beholden to the Middle East for most of our oil needs. This is not an energy policy this is a potential energy disaster!

We need to use the resources we have responsibly while exploring alternative sources including domestic oil and coal to reduce our dependence on foreign oil.

I think nuclear power and alternative forms of energy needs to be part of that discussion as well. We should look at all areas of energy conservation provided they do not put undue burdens on families and businesses.
