State Senator and Candidate for U.S. Senate Joe Kyrillos (R-Monmouth) released the following statement today regarding the recently released figure of new jobs added in New Jersey in May.
"We are doing things right here in New Jersey. According to numbers released today, there were 17,600 jobs added in our state in the month of May. That amounts to one out of every four jobs created nationwide last month. The policies Governor Christie, myself, and other like-minded reformers are instituting are giving our state's economy forward momentum."
"But, the policies coming out of Washington from Senator Bob Menendez are doing the opposite--they are prohibiting forward momentum. Senator Menendez is giving us nothing but more of the same: more spending, more debt, and more job-killing regulation. It's stifling growth and opportunity. We must change course. We must bring proven reforms, like spending and tax cuts, to Washington so our economy can grow nationwide, not just here in New Jersey."
