Texas Comptroller Susan Combs Endorses Republican Randy Weber For Congress

Press Release

Location: League City, TX

Fiscally conservative, forward-thinking, and a leader in making state government more transparent for the taxpayers, Texas Comptroller Susan Combs has found a candidate for Congress that she trusts will work to get the country back on a solid path towards prosperity. Susan Combs has officially endorsed Republican Randy Weber for Congress heading into the July 31st runoff election.

"President Obama's inexperience and liberalism are bankrupting the country and destroying jobs. This disastrous combination threatens the American Dream. It requires that we send the strongest conservatives to Congress to repair the damage before it's too late. Randy Weber has the conservative backbone to stop the Obama agenda from bankrupting our country," said Combs.

In the May 29th primary, Randy Weber finished first, well ahead of the other eight candidates. His record as a small businessman and effective state representative for two terms, where he has earned high marks from several fiscal and social conservative organizations, helped solidify his reputation as someone constituents can count on to look after their tax dollars and protect their Texas values.

"I am honored to have the endorsement of Comptroller Susan Combs. She is a fiscal hawk dedicated to protecting taxpayers and a reform-minded public servant who has done an incredible job of using technology to make state government more accountable, open and honest. She is taking Texas in the right direction," Randy Weber said.
