Issue Position

Protecting Texas's bountiful natural resources and providing a long-term viable water supply is essential for Texas to continue to flourish. As a ranking member of the House Committee on Natural Resources and a previous Board of Director for the Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District, Brandon has worked diligently to ensure Texans have viable water source. A long term viable water source is also the single most important factor when relocating. Whether a business or residence water is the key factor is a sustainable economy. He carried legislation to ensure the safety of groundwater resources and has worked to find solutions to fund the state-wide water plan to implement a fifty year sustainable water plan for all Texans.
