Brandon comes from a family of Texas farmers and ranchers. The best stewards of the land are the ones who care for it. In the 82nd session the House passed legislation to further limit the use of eminent domain to increase individual's right to protect his or her land from government intrusion. Brandon sponsored legislation to improve private property rights and encourage development in Texas' fastest growing counties.
