Issue Position

As Nevada continues to struggle with record unemployment rates, no issue is more important to Dean Heller than getting Nevadans back to work.

Dean's plan to create jobs is four-fold:

Rein in government spending by ending the culture of federal bailouts and enacting a Balanced Budget amendment.
Enact fundamental tax reform that lowers tax rates. The current tax code is too costly, too complex and too burdensome.
Create certainty for businesses by eliminating costly and burdensome regulations.
Shape a comprehensive energy policy that expands domestic energy production and develops the geothermal, solar and wind resources we have.

Dean believes that by Democrats and Republicans coming together, Congress can deliver solutions the American people are looking for and allow Nevadans to take back their future.
