Today, Hudson County Republican Chairman Jose Arango endorsed Senator Joe Kyrillos for United States Senate. After sweeping every convention held in 2012, Kyrillos continues to lock up support across New Jersey.
Hudson County Republican Chairman Jose Arango said, "I proudly endorse Joe Kyrillos for U.S. Senate in the race against Bob Menendez this year. Unlike Senator Menendez, Joe Kyrillos is a true reformer with a record of accomplishment right here in New Jersey. My friend Joe is a man of principle that has helped Governor Christie turn this state around by making the tough choices that need to be made. We need that same principled leadership in our nation's capital to help turn around our nation. We need Joe Kyrillos in the U.S. Senate. Hudson County Republicans stand with Joe, and nothing will change our minds when it comes to our pledge of support. We won't be strong-armed out of our endorsement."
Senator Joe Kyrillos said, "I am proud and honored to have the support of Chairman Arango. As I talk to people across our great state, the message is loud and clear: a rejection of politics as usual. This fall, New Jersey voters will have a stark choice: either more of the same -- more spending, more debt and more job-killing regulations in Bob Menendez or the opportunity for the same kind of reform taking place here in New Jersey. I look forward to working with the people of Hudson County to defeat Sen. Menendez in the fall and I look forward to being a Senator that all the people of New Jersey can be proud of."
Senator Joseph M. Kyrillos, Jr., 51, is married to Susan Doctorian Kyrillos and they live in Middletown with their children Max and Georgia. He began serving New Jersey's 13th Legislative District in 1988 when he was elected to the General Assembly. After spending two terms in the Assembly he was elected to the Senate where he has served since 1993. In addition to his official duties, the Senator is employed as Senior Managing Director of Colliers International, the commercial real estate services firm with offices in New York and Parsippany. He is also an advisor to the Newport Capital Group in Red Bank, NJ.
