Congressman Ruben Hinojosa to Promote Affordable Healthcare at the Grand Opening of the New Women's Health Center in San Juan

Congressman Rubén Hinojosa will speak at the Nuestra Clinica del Valle's Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the Grand Opening of the Women's Health Center at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 806 West 3rd Street, San Juan, Texas.

"Getting access to quality, affordable healthcare is a serious challenge for many of our neighbors in the Lower Rio Grande Valley. For over 40 years, Nuestra Clinica has been knocking down these barriers by delivering excellent primary and preventive health services," said U.S. Rep. Hinojosa.

Members of the Board of Directors for Nuestra Clinica del Valle and staff along with volunteers, health providers and members of the public will be on hand for the opening of the new health service facility.

"We all know that prevention today saves not only millions of dollars in future expensive treatment, but it also allows our children to stay in school and keep learning and our workers to be more productive," said U.S. Rep. Hinojosa. "I know the thousands of patients who will use these facilities this year will receive quality care that they otherwise could never afford."
