Issue Position

I support government investment in renewable energy research as well as investments in public mass transit including new rail transportation.

I support the protection of the Hudson Valley's natural resources to ensure the quality of its air, water and land for future generations. I am committed to work with federal, state, and local government as well as private groups to protect the region's eco-system. I will resist calls for the elimination of the Environmental Protection Agency, and cutting regulations that protect us from harmful chemicals in the workplace, our homes and in our precious waterways for the sake of higher profits or political expediency.
