The 9/11 Commission Report, which included recommendations designed to guard against future attacks, focused a great deal of attention to increasing security along the northern and southern border. Tightening our porous borders is necessary so that no terrorist can enter without our knowledge. In addition to securing our borders, I believe that comprehensive immigration legislation must include a temporary legal employment document program.
