I support America's commitment to the safety of Israel and I support Israel's right to defend itself from hostile threats from inside and outside of their nation.
I will oppose cuts to foreign aid for Israel because this support is vital to their continued safety and viability as a democracy and ally to the United States.
I support using our close relationship with Israel to advance dialogue and behavior that promotes peace, including ceasing new settlements and allowing increased cross-border movement of cargo and people.
I will oppose any efforts to force Israel to take actions that undermine their security and will defend Israel before those in the international community that attack the nation or its people.
We need allies in the Middle East that respect democracy and a pluralistic society. Israel is one of our strongest and most important allies in the world, and our commitment to their survival should not be taken lightly, and should not be the subject of political posturing.
I will encourage Israel to make proactive steps towards a more a peaceful situation, including ending settlements and allowing increased movement of people and cargo across its borders. While we should encourage progress towards peace, I support Israel's right to defend itself from hostile threats inside and outside of its nation to ensure their safety and survival.
