I've enjoyed a lovely week back home in North Carolina. It was an honor to talk with many veterans at the Vietnam Veterans' Homecoming Celebration at Charlotte Motor Speedway over the weekend and I was happy to meet with many constituents and businesses back in the district.
Throughout the week, I talked to members of our community and heard about the issues facing our state. My travels took me to many parts of the Second District, including a class of students at Clement Elementary, the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce, firefighters at a groundbreaking ceremony at Cary Fire Station 8, employees at a ribbon cutting ceremony at ACDI in Nashville, and at the Special Forces Regimental Day at Ft. Bragg. In this newsletter, you will find photos and information about some of the events I attended over the past week.

I would like to take this time to wish you and your family a happy and restful Easter holiday. May God bless you, our state, and this great nation.
