Representative Miller Applauds Federal Agents Work in Arrest of Criminal Illegal Aliens

U.S. Representative Candice Miller (MI-10) today made the following comments in regards to news reports about a six-day nationwide operation conducted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) which led to the arrest of 3,168 immigrants who had been convicted of crimes or had repeatedly violated immigration laws. Miller said:

"I applaud the work of the men and women of ICE on the arrest of these criminals who pose a dangerous threat to our communities. I look forward to continuing the Committee's cooperation with ICE to address these and other serious defects in our immigration system, such as the over 40 percent of all illegal aliens in this country who have overstayed their visa."
