Issues: Senior Citizens Entitlements and the Safety Net Health Insurance

Protecting the Medicare and Social Security systems from severe cuts and possible insolvency will require limits on the growth rates of these programs. Any changes to these programs should generational, and not affect those nearing or currently receiving benefits. If nothing is done, nothing will be left for future generations. It should be clear that Social Security should never be privatized.
