Issue Position

I have supported, and will continue to support, full repeal of the Health Care law. I was a cosponsor of H.R. 2, the Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act, which passed the House on January 19th, 2011. I also cosponsored legislation to defund ObamaCare and I am cosponsoring multiple pieces of legislation to repeal individual provisions of the Health Care law.

I believe that the federal government should eliminate artificial state boundaries in health insurance, extend certain protections for those who maintain continuous coverage, and provide states with relief from federal regulations that inhibit innovation and interfere with the free market. The focus should be to improve quality of care while keeping health care costs down.
