If children are our future then educated children will result in a great future. Unfortunately the 'No Child Left Behind Act' has failed to produce as it was intended. It is time for a realistic approach to education. Not every child is meant, nor desires, to be a mathematician or a scientist. We can encourage and provide opportunities, but the process doesn't provide for those who enjoy working with their hands. We need to fund vocational education programs that will meet the needs of these children while improving the learning enviornment for children who are more academically suited for math and science programs.
