Issue Position

The greatness of the America is not better exemplified than through the men and women in the uniform of the United States armed forces.

Priority one is to honor the commitments made to them while they are in harms way and when they return home. The U.S. Military is the finest "command and control" organization in the history of the world and they deserve our unending support.

Today though our troops are over deployed and spread too thin. We cannot and should not be the world's police force or engage in "nation building."

When attacked, we should respond with fierce and decisive force but in order to do this in the future we must finish our work in Afghanistan, bring our combat troops home, begin to rebuild our military industrial complex and invest in U.S. intelligence capabilities.
