The ACA act was a start, but we're by no means finished. We already have a national infrastructure in the form of Medicare. It would be a relatively small step to expand it into a full blown single payer program. This will will help bring down costs by a huge margin for everyone and make our social programs more affordable in the long run. It saves money, covers more people, and most importantly will work.
