Issue Position

As a mother of three children, I understand the important role that schools play in any community. If elected, I will do everything in my power to ensure that the State properly funds education. To prevent waste and protect our children, I will fight for a law limiting school district administrative expenses and requiring 85% of revenue to be spent inside the classroom.

I am also outraged to read about various administrators getting rich from huge, taxpayer funded pensions after a few years of service. I will push for legislation that limits administrator's pay and requires they serve at least 20 years before receiving a pension. I also support a law that prevents administrators from collecting multiple pensions in Illinois.
