Bachmann Statement Regarding VA Outpatient Clinic Opening

Statement

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (MN-06) released the following statement upon the opening of the new Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) by the Veterans Administration in Ramsey, Minn:

"The opening of the new Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) today is a milestone in veterans' care. This 20,000 square foot, state-of-the art clinic keeps accessibility in mind. It will welcome all veterans regardless of mobility, age or injury. Whether veterans seek dental, audiology, optometry, primary care or another kind of care, our heroes will receive the very best here at the Northwestern Clinic. This clinic represents the future of veterans care in America.

"It is appropriate that the opening of this clinic occurs on Veterans Day. For nearly a century, our nation has paused, primarily on November 11, to remember our fallen heroes and show gratitude to those still living. This facility will treat and care for veterans from every generation still living, from World War II to Operation Enduring Freedom. Our nation has persevered because of our veterans. This clinic is a demonstration of the commitment America has made to care for them as long as they need."
