Congressman Cantor Honors Our Veterans, Announces 2011 Congressional Veteran Commendation Winners

Statement

Today, Congressman Eric Cantor (VA-07) commemorated Veterans Day by participating in the Virginia War Memorial Veterans Day Ceremony. Congressman Cantor also announced the 2011 Congressional Veteran Commendation winners from the 7th District:

"This Veterans Day, as we thank our nation's heroes, I am proud to announce that several distinguished veterans from the 7th District will receive the Congressional Veteran Commendation for their heroic military service during an upcoming ceremony at the Virginia War Memorial on November 22nd. Our nation is forever grateful for the sacrifices made by all our veterans and their families to protect us from harm and preserve our freedom and liberty. We will also never forget the veterans who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country."
