Continuing our efforts to get government out of the way and establish the right environment for job creation, we will be voting on two more jobs bills this week in the House.

I will be managing the rule for HR 674, which repeals the 3 percent withholding tax. This bill, introduced by Congressman Wally Herger (R-CA), is critical for job creators and local governments alike.

The House will also be voting on the Southeast Arizona Land Exchange and Conservation Act (HR 1904), sponsored by my fellow freshman Paul Gosar (R-AZ). This legislation will create thousands of jobs, generate billions in revenue and strengthen our national security by developing our own U.S. copper resources.

Also on the docket for the week are HR 2576 by Congresswoman Diane Black (R-TN) and HR 2042 by Representative Rick Larsen (D-WA).
