More Trains Less Traffic

We all know how terrible the traffic is, especially on major highways like I-66. Piecemeal measures, such as adding a lane to highways for limited stretches, are being paid for with debt by the current legislature and are not the long-term traffic management solutions we need as a growing state. Light-rail from Haymarket to the Vienna Metro will reduce traffic without adding to the already constant delays and closures that plague our roads. By investing in sensible mass transit like this, we can increase development, create jobs and take cars off the road.
