Bono Mack Says Apple's Steve Jobs Will Be Remembered as One of the Greatest Innovators in American History

Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack (CA-45), released the following statement upon learning of the death of former Apple CEO Steve Jobs:

"I was deeply saddened to learn of the death of Steve Jobs, the creative genius at Apple and one of the greatest technology pioneers of our time. He will be
greatly missed, and my heart and prayers go out to his family and friends.

"Steve's remarkable vision, never-give-up spirit and clarity of purpose helped to change the world in which we live.

"He had an uncanny knack for knowing what consumers wanted. And he delivered one cutting-edge product after another, improving the way that we access
information, communicate with each other, shop online, and so many other ways that we now take for granted as part of our everyday lives.

"I believe history will remember Steve Jobs as one of the greatest innovators of all time, the Thomas Edison of the 21st Century. And I will also remember him as someone who had my total admiration for his unwavering dedication to improving mankind."
