Republican Congressman Jeff Flake, who represents Arizona's Sixth District, today praised the House passage of H.R. 358, the Protect Life Act, which will prohibit any federal funds allocated under Obamacare to be used to perform abortions except in the cases of rape, incest, or to save the life of the mother. Congressman Flake is a cosponsor of the Protect Life Act.

"Of all of Obamacare's many flaws, the potential that federal funds would be used to perform abortions is the most unconscionable," said Flake. "I urge the Senate to pass this bill and the President to sign it into law."
