The Future of Freedom in Middle East Means Standing in Solidarity with Coptic Christians

Statement

Date: Oct. 13, 2011
Location: Washington, DC

In the wake of the radical-Muslim aligned Egyptian Military violence against Coptic Christians in Egypt, Congressman Connie Mack (Fl-14), member of the House Foreign Relations Committee, released the following statement:

"The military forces of the interim-Egyptian government are guilty of nothing short of crimes against humanity in the wake of Sunday's violence against the peaceful, democratic Coptic Christians in Egypt. Tragically the world has again witnessed the radical-Muslim based war on freedom of any kind, and dealing with such a belief system is not accomplished by embracing such a movement as "different from us." It is time for all freedom loving nations, democratically elected leaders and human rights organizations to stand united against such tyrannical behavior."
