Tipton Statement on the Protecting Jobs from Government Interference Act

Rep. Scott Tipton (R-CO) issued the following statement today after House passage of H.R. 2587, the Protecting Jobs from Government Interference Act. This legislation would prohibit the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) from restricting where an employer can locate.

"The Protecting Jobs from Government Interference Act is a step in the right direction to help provide certainty for employers and foster a business friendly climate by reining-in bureaucracy and allowing the free enterprise system to work. When it comes down to choosing whether we ought to be encouraging the creation of good-paying jobs so that hard-working Americans have opportunities to provide for their families, or placating political interests, I side with American workers any day. I hope the Senate will pass this common-sense legislation."
