Location: Washington, DC

U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers, MI-08 and chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, will join host Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday on Sept. 11, to discuss the status of intelligence reform on the 10th anniversary of the events of 9/11. Please check local listings for air times.

The House and Senate Intelligence Committees will soon begin reviewing the evolution of the threat against the United States by Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups.

"The murder of nearly 3,000 innocent people on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001 changed the world as we knew it," Rogers said. "The 10-year anniversary is not only a time to reflect on the lives lost that day, but it is also important to continue to find new and innovative opportunities to improve the coordination and integration of our intelligence capabilities."

The House Intelligence Committee oversees the intelligence community, including operations and budgetary oversight, and is the primary panel responsible for overseeing implementation of the intelligence community restructuring to respond to the emerging threats of the 21st Century.

Rogers is a former Army officer/company commander and FBI Special Agent investigating public corruption as a member of the Chicago Bureau's organized crime unit.
