U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) today released the following statement in response to a U.S. Department of Energy panel's recommendations for natural gas drilling:
"The recommendations released today highlight the need to responsibly approach natural gas drilling to fully harness its potential to create jobs in Pennsylvania and decrease our dependence on foreign energy sources. I will continue to push for a balanced approach to harness the positive economic potential of the industry while ensuring the protection of our communities and the environment."
