Today, Congressman Bruce Braley (IA-01) released thefollowing statement on the severe storm that hit Central and Eastern Iowa early this morning:

"While officials are still assessing the full damage caused by this morning's storm, I'm monitoring the situation closely. My office is open and my staff is available to help any Iowans who need it. I'm thankful that we haven't received any reports of injuries at this time, and I sincerely hope that remains unchanged."
