Mississippi Senator Rejects President's Call for Peace Deal Based on Renegotiation of Israel's Borders

U.S. Senator Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) today made the following statement on President Obama's recent Middle East speech in which he called on Israel to renegotiate its borders.

"The president's significant policy shift weakens Israel's ability to defend itself," said Wicker. "Given the Palestinians' track record, we have every cause for concern as Israel defends and secures its borders. I am extremely disappointed by the president's comments."
