Appearing on the nationally syndicated Fox News program "Your World w/ Neil Cavuto," Congressman Vern Buchanan (FL-13) said the United States needs to seriously "reassess all foreign aid we send to other countries." Buchanan, Florida's only member of the powerful Ways & Means Committee, said America should not be in the business of buying allies who may not have our best interest in mind. "We're drowning in a sea of debt," said Buchanan. "We can't afford to be buying friends around the world...we need to take care of America first."
