Today, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) released the following statement regarding the successful American operation in Pakistan that resulted in the death of Osama bin Laden:

"The death of Osama bin Laden is welcome news to all Americans. Thanks to the courageous work of our men and women in uniform, justice has finally been paid. I would also like to thank both President Obama and President Bush and their teams for all their efforts to bring al Qaeda terrorists to justice. We will continue to pray for those who risk their lives to keep America safe and free."
