Senators John Kerry and Scott Brown, along with the Massachusetts Bar Association, Worcester Bar Association, and Springfield Bar Association, have made all their appointments to the non-partisan Selection Committee that will recommend candidates for the two upcoming judicial vacancies at the Federal District Courts in Springfield and Worcester.

The Selection Committee, chaired by Massachusetts attorney Joan Lukey, includes Walter Prince, Mike Mone, Mike Jennings, John Pucci, Eugene O'Donnell, Betsy Scheibel, Roberto Braceras, Jack Corrigan, and Sarah Christie.

"The Committee will complete a thorough search that will identify the best and brightest legal minds in Massachusetts which will be the basis for a recommendation to President Obama. I look forward to seeing the next great judges for Springfield and Worcester recommended to President Obama and we need the input of citizens across Massachusetts to make this non-partisan process succeed," said Sen. Kerry.

"I look forward to evaluating the candidates the committee brings forward to President Obama to make sure they have the appropriate temperament, experience and qualifications to serve in these important judicial positions," said Sen. Brown.
